Driver might not be compatible with Sun Java JRE, this is a well known problem.

TS6 includes data feed (from S&P Comstock) and order entry (as well as automated trading) for US stocks. A TS2000i feature called Radarscreen is still missing. Futures order entry is browser-based (not integrated). Clearing firms: Bear-Stearns (stocks) and Lind-Waldock (futures).

I have seen many brokers (non-US brokers) with very much lower quality of accounting. :D

Yes, I wonder why you sometimes get strange answers from IB_Help. I guess they have to work very fast to get all emails done and avoid to spend a lot of time with something that is difficult for them to explain (for example margin requirements for options).

There are different contracts for the DJIA. Best choice for trading with a direct access broker would be YM (YM02M) 5 $ per point. The standard contract DJ (DJ02M) 10 $ per point is trading via open outcry and you cannot access this market thru IB TWS or PATS JTrader.

Execution report and daily statement contains time, place and IB´s internal number for every execution. This is not meant to be the full list, just to give an idea where my BEST orders for stock like MSFT, INTC were executed: ISLAND (most), ARCA, INSTINET, RDBK, TMBR
