Mousebuttons can be set to Righthanded / Lefthanded - that´s the easier way. You can find your wronghanded mouse in Windows Control Panel and change its settings.

Do they their commissions exclude exchange fees ? Would be an additional 2.42 $ per roundturn for E-Minis.

The same here: Over the 7 months that I have been a tradestation customer I have not had one crash or slow data. Had 1 or 2 days where I could not login for 20 to 30 minutes (around 10 am ET).

I wonder how this should happen. Currently order entry for futures is not even integrated into TS6.

Must be serious problems if they even admit "connectivity problems". I wonder what´s really going on there. They had a specific timetable for migration to iLink FIX 4.2 and I wonder what IB is currently using to connect to Globex. And if there are problems with new connection type (iLink 4.2)...

Of course they do have a lot of complaints, but why should they admit such issues ? They prefer to suggest that you have a bad ISP, bad operating system or something like that. PATS reliability seems to vary from broker to broker. Each broker (FCM) runs his PATS servers on his own hardware und...

If any kind of IB technical problem occurs it might repeat throughout the day. Recently they had many many bulletins out like this one:

- IB currently uses simulated Globex stops (inactive outside RTH !) - IB will introduce native Globex stops (stop limit) , but no timeframe specified - Conversion of MKT orders to LMT orders is done by IB (not by Globex)

What´s wrong with TS6 ? I use it since Jan 2002 and I had less than 60 minutes downtime (cumulative) so far. :) (_happy_)

Yes, but why treat electronic trading different from pit trading ("open outcry") ? It´s ridiculous. There are only historical reasons for all these special risk disclosures ("you know it´s electronic").

CME is just about to introduce new Globex software (iLink, Eagle) throughout Jul, Aug, Sep 2002. Expect the unexpected.
