    sunw getting pounded...

IMHO it depends. A lot of book value in case of sunw is cash. Cash is definitly good support. Then you have to look into details. Of course, book value can be faked as anything else, US- Gaap isn't actually that good. In case the price of sunw goes under book value, watch out for Carl...

    sunw getting pounded...

like a piece of meat. Wouldn't recommend to go long at the moment. But still, book value is $ 2,34 per share, so this should be a strong support. :p

anticipating the right move and still loosing money

Hi T-Rex, congratulations. May I ask how many points was your second SL from your entry away?

anticipating the right move and still loosing money

And once again anticipating the move but still not riding the wave. Today short @1322 on the open and the NQ moves to 1326 and I'm of course confronted with fear. This time I didn't take the loss but instead covered with a small gain @1320. Still the whole thing is totally BS. The problem is...

anticipating the right move and still loosing money

Something else. I read a lot about migration from stocks to future trading due to an illiquid stock surrounding. As I do both in addition to options, IHMO trading futures on a intraday- level is the most difficult task of all, to me. Maybe this is not exactly rational, but the futures can...

anticipating the right move and still loosing money

Yes I'm trying to scale in, but I can tell you that my limit orders are very, very often not hit although the price target is reached. Say, I have a limit buy order @1318 and it just happens that often that we reach that price and I'm just not hit, because I'm not in front of the order row. Then...

anticipating the right move and still loosing money

this is the kind of stuff that really p... me on. I was anticipating that the intraday gap in NQ would be closed. So I placed a short sale @1330 at the first sign of an reversal, which turned out to be too early and was stopped out. Then I tried for the second time, because I know when it...

Who says shorting stocks @ all time high isn't profitable?

Yes, I also made a little money with UTSI, it's a great stock you can play with, especially with options. But no need to thank me, because: You did the trade You risked your money You managed it to get out. So, it's you my brother who deserves to get some money from someone else...

Who says shorting stocks @ all time high isn't profitable?

probably will not make your headline a trading rule in an uptrending bull market. couldn't agree more. Apart, it is no core trading rule of mine. Just wanted to point out that buying 52week highs blindly can be a way into financial destruction. :p

Who says shorting stocks @ all time high isn't profitable?

As I know that you are an option player, take a look at the premiums. IMHO you know how to play this.
