TASR - back in the days

Over 52% short ratio says to me that there are some professional traders out there with real big positions on the short side in TASR. Probably those will get fired by the end of the day. History always repeats itself. I've have seen such action in 1999.

TASR - back in the days

TASR up about 14%!!! C'om on guys give me some options. There is vola, there is volume what does an underlying need more? Apart, IMHO corporate America is still nuts. Anyway it doesn't matter. Best of luck.

You are funny, my caracal. Be aware, if you plan your holidays there is no legal protection for you in Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. :p

tktx- what to do right now

Tktx is a stock with enormous volatility, so damn right to trade. I already have taken action today. So I'm interested in what would you do right now in TKTX.

TASR - back in the days

Will be difficult to take advantage from the short side, because: Short % of Float (as of 8-Dec-03): 52.59% (I guess it's not that high anymore due to some margin calls today) Shares Short (prior month): 570.00K. Anyone able to short? Also no options available. :(

TASR - back in the days

Taser International Inc. (NasdaqSC:TASR - News), which makes weapons for law enforcement such as stun guns, said on Wednesday it would implement a three-for-one stock split. Taser's earnings and share price have soared in recent quarters. Shares closed at $101.25 on the Nasdaq on Tuesday...

    shorting the jumping cat

Ok, CAT trades have been awful, timing totally wrong, but still I made money. Heilbronner refers to my hometown which is called Heilbronn, so no big deal about that. There is no meaning to it. BTW, 1999 was the most successful trading year ever for me. Anyway, good luck.

Options trading vs. stocks vs. futures

Ok, I see your point lindq. But still, IMHO options are the place to be now. ...But let the market start to turn, and there will be options traders blowing up all over the place. Everybody's brilliant when the market is soaring... Who says a put can't be just as nice? ...Losing your...

Options trading vs. stocks vs. futures

I#m not saying that you can make 1000% on your portfolio, except you are a gambler. But you can make 1000% on single option trades with relatively small amounts in relation to your portfolio. I wanted to point out that it's more easy to make some good option trades than successfully...

    shorting the jumping cat

This is a gain of 2.9%. While others keep on criticizing my trading style I keep on making money. But for sure, others will still say that my trades only consist of luck and that I'm on a sure way to self destruction. Do you know how many trades I posted here on ET successfully?

Options trading vs. stocks vs. futures

I'm not a beginner. Trading stock, options and futures for several years now, but intensified trading options in the last 12 months. IMHO I will give up trading futures, because options it the place to be(at least for me). Of course the Nok trade stands out and this performance is an exception...

Options trading vs. stocks vs. futures

Try to use the spread to my advantage, which works out, but you need patience. Ok, time decay remains, but I also write options, so I can even use time to my advantage. :)

Options trading vs. stocks vs. futures

IMHO with options making money can be very easy and comfortable. E.g. I bought different option series in NOK a couple of days ago. Today I sold with huge gains of about 800% 1200% and more than 1500% and it was that easy. I didn't watch for the positions for some days. In stock...

    shorting the jumping cat

Hi David, in order to make some profits. Well, profits have been small in CAT, but I ended every trade in CAt in the green so far. In addition, I always try to make my portfolio long/short neutral, so short positions are always something like a hedge to me. In 2003 my performance in...
