Confession: my first serious drawdown was losing 10k. 5k two days in a row. I was scared. I get a lot less scared these days since I have a decent (almost 7 yr) record of coming back but the thing I think I've learned is that drawdowns anywhere and always really suck.

Bot 3k ebay sept 25 strike calls for avg price of just under 12 cents, i still feel like this thing has a shot at trading towards 25 today. If the ebay turns out a loser too, i will have to declare "brown thumb" status, cut down my size and try to rebuild some confidence.

I went ahead and covered all the bby given how bad it was acting and got a bunch of this ebay, about 93k shrs at 24.35 realized PnL negative 63k on the day

Well this bby looks to have shot my day early, i'm down to 30k short and a -23k realized PnL. Also, im looking to go long ebay if it dips after the open.

I just shorted 40k bby on the eps miss avg price of 38.76. Too much size prob, but will see what happens

I got smoked out of some of the MOT, now down to 121k shrs w/realized PnL of -26,143. I need to get real lucky if that one is going to end up working.

Covered all the POT based it it not acting well, realized PnL for the day now -23,681, still long 153k mot at 8.80, if my luck so far today is any indicator, that one will roll over and i'll lose on it too.

Covered a few more pot, down to 12k shrs short added for the last time to mot long maxed out at 153k shrs avg cost 8.80

I've whittled it down to 14.6k pot short and 120k mot long, will keep these for a few hours as long as they dont start going the wrong way. Realized PnL for the day so far is -16k

I cut the pot back to 16k shrs based on its not working, my avg cost is 87.94 for the short position. I dialed the mot up to long 120k shrs at 8.79 based on it is trying to work. still short 8k omx at 11.78, prob going to exit that right now

i added mot back, 60k shrs at 8.78, still short pot 27k shrs and small omx 8k shrs, trying to wait to see if pot is going to break down, but good chance it could burn me good.
