Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Rather than direct your focus outward, perhaps you ought to review your first posts to Saber's journal, which according to him were part of the reason he decided to leave. Ignore or don't ignore. Who cares? You don't HAVE to read anything.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Is ten years enough? It's easy to bypass the whole problem. Just don't be a jerk.

And those who are blocked can start their own threads and whine about having been blocked and isn't life unfair boo hoo hoo. And I can pretty much predict who will participate in said threads. Nice thing is, one needn't read them, electing to concentrate on his trading instead.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

And why should that self-control be necessary? It's difficult to carry on a discussion with someone while some jackass is screaming in your ear about how you're a charlatan and a snake oil salesman and a stealth vendor and you're misleading the unwary, over and over and over and over without...

And you run and hide whenever anyone presses you about the meaning of "price drivers". Don't be a drama queen. So is your farewell tour going to last longer than Barbra Streisand's? Or have you decide to stick around?

    My Wyckoff journal

There may be a revised and updated SLA this weekend, a combination of The Mind Game, Developing a Plan, and the SLA/AMT in one pdf, along with some additions and changes that I hope will make it more useful. (I included the Crib Notes :))

Trading the CL with Trading Price Action On Futures

After this weekend you'll be able to block people on your Ignore list from posting to your journal. I hope you'll give it another shot.

    Those Wacky Republicans

Scientists are still exploring the causes of California's historic drought, but one local lawmaker thinks it might all come down to one thing: God's wrath over abortion. While speaking at the California ProLife Legislative Banquet last week, California Assemblywoman Shannon Grove (R) suggested...

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Probably more than compensated for by the numbers of those who will come back. The fact that Mark is interested in starting threads again is reason enough to move forward with it.

Trading the CL with Trading Price Action On Futures

At least some of this arises from the fact that there is a general confusion about trading journals and trading logs. Trading journals are about the journey (journal? journey?) and whoever begins and maintains the journal in public does so in the hope that interested observers will make helpful...

I am sick of these fake mentors

Or like $350/month newsletter subscriptions . . . And they don't even come with a box lunch.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Yes, there are. But even they were no match for Albert Labos. Eventually it just gets tiresome, and one wonders what's the point? T2W also has private clubs, but that pretty much defeats the purpose of a trading forum, as does creating a group private thread. There is also the problem at T2W of...

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

:) I'd very much appreciate your input. I've been reading your posts for quite some time and you appear to be the real deal. (If you're not, I'd rather not know)

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

I agree. But constructive criticism must also be informed. Otherwise it's just rationalized trolling.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

As for the first point, who'd want to read it? There are more than one journal that consist of the journalist talking to himself. No reason not to let them be. As for the second, I can't imagine why a sponsor would intrude on a thread where he's not wanted. I should think they have better...

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

I wouldn't call it "initial". But it doesn't matter. I'll be posting the weekly chart just as I have been for months.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Should be, but it doesn't work out that way. But rather than beat that particular dead horse, I suggest we give Baron's suggestion at least a try. I doubt that those who aren't interested in my threads are going to be reading them anyway.

Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

It was a joke due to the request for wanting to see a picture of the bear, but if you want to put me on Ignore, that's fine. A great many posts would never have had to be made if you and your friend had done so long ago.

Which is indicative of just the sort of obsessive behavior that moderation is supposed to curb. This is a trading forum, not Ding Dong School.
