    Yes, NT7 uses multiple cores where applicable in both 32 and 64 bit environents. Max application RAM allocation in 32-bit I believe is around 1.5GB not 4GB. In 64-bit, this limitation does not exist.

    32-bit windows limit application memory allocation the reason you run into a application memory limitation although you have more available system memory. 64-bit does not have this limitation.
