Need to make a couple notes here. I was long Euro for several days. Last night, I purchased another contract and foolishly moved my stop(s) up to an area just below recent support. I was stopped out for 2 contracts overnight, for a small profit. This was (in hindsight) a very foolish thing...

How to know if money is real

Money is just as made up as anything that humans make. It's just as real as anything made up by humans, like numbers, planes, doctors, and playgrounds. Humans assign values which they make up based on a general consensus of what the value should be. Any kind of money is just like a market...

    Interview question

    God no.... 720 X 20% = 864 ??? Sure, use X * 1.2 instead of: X[1] = X[0] + (20% * X[0]) for clarity..? Third times a charm!

Any of you making $5k-10k per day??

Lescor probably averaged 5k/day one year. It came out to something like 800k after taxes and paying the piper his fee.

    2012 Trading Journal of 2steps

Did I say anything about betting? I wouldn't bet you a dollar that your grandma couldn't sing happy birthday. Though I will say I'm a trader & programmer.

Hey all you price predictors: when is a pullback gonna come?

I have heard some really bullshit volume analysis before, such as: "If the close is higher than the open, more people bought than sold." Someone is always on the other side, that's why it's called 'trading.'

[Newbie Question] Where To Get Commodity News?

Rethink who should be playing russian roulette: You can't type a couple words in google yourself, instead you make a thread asking others for something that doesn't exist.... Who's acting fake or tough? Who has a crystal ball? Reading comprehension is not the same as loosely interpreting...

    Twenty-twelve [P&L]

In order to get good returns, you must have risk... no matter the investment. I use price action mainly in combination with 1-2 market indicators to tell me the direction to expect. No fundamentals, no technical indicators (price/volume based), nothing mechanical. That stuff never made me...

"The only way to trade with Fibonaccis" journal

It's funny how this thread is rated 2 stars, and yet you have probably one of the best returns on this forum. Kudos.. Part of my trading plan is similar to this, adding to positions or entering a market only after a retracement opposite the direction of the bet. It's working out well for...

Why are Long systems more lucrative than Short ones?

What is an index? Weighted average value of 30 or more large companies. Would it make sense if the value of the average would go down over a long period of time? That would mean, the largest companies in this country are collectively losing value (this means many things) over time...
