Sorry for the delayed response, ET was down. That's exactly what happened and caused the confusion. That is the key. Had I thoroughly YM, it would have screamed at me: YM is moving pt1 to pt2, therefore change on YM signals retrace not reversal. This is what I get for not annotating...

I will double and triple check the chart before posting it. Thank you for your feedback. As a beginner I don't believe I meet criteria for anything beyond monitoring. I may have expended the definition of monitoring to include attempting to determine change/continuation by the end of the bar...

What a beautiful morning! The 1035 [close of] ES bar is rather confusing. Significantly lower volatility (range) on increased volume and IBGS both signal change. 1034 [close of] YM bar attempted to break the lower boundary of FBP and failed signaling change as well. the price however went lower...

AHA! The price is moving from FTT (also pt1 towards pt2). Therefore any signal of change here would indicate the beginning of non-dominant traverse (through which beginners hold through) One bar after we had our pt3. The 1545 [close of] is also an IBGS and the price did go higher on the next...

If anybody was holding through 1445 [close of] ES bar, I would greatly appreciate sharing the reasons why. The bar is IBGS on decreasing black volume. YM 1444 [close of] bar is FBO of Lateral Formation also signaling change. But the price continued going higher.
