Is Oanda still a top FX broker?

They pulled back on affiliate marketing and sponsorships... So bloggers--who have no clue how to trade--aren't putting Oanda in "top 10" lists as much anymore.

Pepperstone Changes Margin Requirements for MT4/MT5 Users

Nedging (noobie hedging by talking an opposing trade in the exact same symbol) is silly anyway.. shouldn't affect pro traders. Work out desired net exposure pre and post hedge trade, reduce your existing position by the difference, save on total fees by not crossing the spread an extra time...

I wouldn't say they "can't" see... the platform does log API calls. I wouldn't be surprised if they tag actions initiated via the API. I imagine some compliance and regulatory bodies expect brokers to know how their clients are trading during an investigation. It's not a big deal, at least, I...

    Are all MetaTrader brokers scam?

They are not all that way. There are many well regulated brokers out there. If you're outside of the USA, consider https://pepperstone.com, and use their cTrader platform if you're just paranoid about MetaTrader. I've known them since 2010 and have had zero issues taking out net profit over...
