Quotetracker (www.quotetracker.com) is still the best charting software in the industry IMO. I recently had an issue with QT/TWS and they (QT) resolved it promptly with IB. P.S. I am not affiliated in any way with QT nor IB.

Backfill screaming now. It seems that about midmorning IB servers come alive. Or maybe they finally resolved the issue once and for all (lol not). Thanks QT for lighting a fire under IB! :D

The problem has been identified and communicated to IB. Their servers are not responding to QT requests for some reason. QT is on top of it.

Contacted IB tech support. They said as long as I can view a realtime chart from TWS that it is not their servers, that QT is "passing the buck". IB said maybe my API got corrupted and suggested I reinstall it. I did and I still have the same problem--no backfill. QT is no help, says there...

Going to put a ticket into IB on this. I will let you know the outcome.
