    I don't speak on behalf of the rich. I attempt to enlighten those that think (despite the evidence of all recorded history) that the government is there to fix everything, to take care of them, to make everything alright. Socialism works real well....till you run out of money.

    Most of the news is noise. But here's just one good example of why I listen...... On CNBC they interrupted with a news flash for the Greece default. Not unexpected ..... but a quick click on the sell short was good for about 20 ticks over 10 min.

    I disagree. I find it hard to imagine a BD taking an order that was entered as a spread with a limit and routing one leg to one exchange and the other leg to another exchange. If that's what your saying. I agree that there's no way the broker is going to leg in.

    What I look for on a spread (Limit order) in for the options to be at the natural. That is to say that the limit can be accomodated if the buy side is done at the ask, and the sell is done at the bid. Plus it may have to be there for the time it takes for any orders ahead.

    Buy back credit spread?

    If it's a credit spread the max profit would be the credit.....and one would want them to expire worthless and not have to close the position. If it's a credit spread and deep ITM one would have a max loss..!!
