I am looking for some good historical daily data for ES, YM, NQ, ER2, and EMD. I like Yahoo's data because it can be downloaded in Excel. I tried using SPY and S&P 500 INDEX,RTH (^GSPC) for the ES. I get different OHLC numbers for each of them. I tried to look at some charts to see if there...

Thanks, I had tried QCN and there isn't any activity, that's why I made this post. I looked around can't seem to find an active contract. Maybe there just insn't an active contract.

I know that NQ is very active and tracks the composite closely, but I am looking for a contract on the composite if there is an active one.

I am interested in trading the Nasdaq Composite. Does anyone know of an active futures contract for the composite? Thanks in adavance.

I am looking for a charting package that will allow me to chart e-mini pairs, preferably in ratios. For example, ES-2NQ (one ES minus two NQ). I would like as much historical data as possible, and some moving averages. Thanks for the help.

Back to the technical problems with TWS, my orders for EMD and ER2 are taking a long time (relatively) to go "green" this morning. The problem could very well be on my side, but I was wondering if anyone else is still having this problem.

I use marketable limit orders (EMD and ER2), and I have been having a problem with them not filling instantly too - actually, they aren't going live instantly - really frustrating when the market is moving. I had a similar problem about a month or so ago, that was resolved. I don't remember...

I was confused by this at first, but now I kind of like being able to delete a symbol with the hotkey. It still cancels the order the same as before, you just have to be on the correct line. The icon bugs me too. It doesn't seem to be there every time.

guy2, Thanks for the response. I agree with you completely, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't wasting a few ticks rolling over. Actually, I started rolling over, and I caught enough of a move to cover the rollover. Thanks again for your help.

I'll have to show my ignorance here a little bit. I don't normally carry contracts over, but this time I probably will. Is there a better way to "roll over" than just selling the March and buying the June? I guess you lose the spread and commission in order to roll over. Any suggestions on...

Thanks for the suggestion, I guess the short answer is that I don't know how. I guess I may have to learn. I also like to have a few MA's and MACD's on the charts. I guess I could learn how to do that too. I think you should just do it for me Jerry.:p

Actually, I use IB for my feed - so it is free for me. I am paying $20 a month for backfill from IQ though. I actually got this mainly to feed an excel worksheet I was using. I'm not using the worksheet any more, so I will probably drop this soon. That leaves me paying $7 a month for a chart...

I had a problem with the sliding window today. I use 1 min candlesticks with a 2 hour period. I had some trouble with my ER2 chart. At about 10:35 (EST) or so the lows were dropped off as the price rebounded. It seemed like the oldest prices should have been pushed off the chart, no the ones...

I used the sliding window scale today, and it was great! I second all of the positive feedback about customer service, it is the best customer service I have ever had. Now if we could just get the ability to graph pairs (as in SPY-3QQQQ) I would be set.
