    I spent a couple of days doing mechanical APA and without success. the failed exercise taught me one thing - there's no such thing as "mechanical APA", it's all about DOM and RTC. APA is not a shortcut/path to SCT, it's the result.

    No, I understand you need to do the reverse over and over until it clears the entry. I recall in a trading journal, Jack once did 3 reversals in 30 sec period. and people laughed at him said it's brokers' dream comes true, and they were probably right, if APA falls in the hand of wrong people...

    Actually APA is pretty straightforward in theory. it says always put a stop right after your entry 1 tick away twice the size. it does sound crazy though. Did anyone try this using a trading program? RoughTrader?
