I guess that is my scenario. FSLR is one of the names I frequently trade but my system is automated and breaks up orders into 100 lots (or more if it is behind pace). Even if it has a large order to place it will only show a small amount and keep the rest in reserve.

Doesn't FSLR trade 5m / day? Seems like there should be more trades there than the 1k / minute, even counting the large amount that trade near the open & close with the standard volume smile.

Yeah, I'm not going the opensource route which eliminated several options. I was planning on going SVN anyways so I'm ok with that at CVSdude. At the very least I'm curious to learn a bit about this git thing.

You might want to double check that with IB tomorrow. I had locates on both FRE & FNM today and GS started rejecting my orders mid-day with "Security not available to borrow" messages. Doubt this only applies to GS. The others on Don's list were ok with just a locate, but I'm guessing that...

another alternative is to look for a mail provider and client that supports the IMAP IDLE command. I believe the free aol email accounts support IMAP IDLE on the server side and you can keep using Outlook Express on the client side.
