hi. i can't login to the tws this morning. we ran a ping test(good) and a tracert test-{get time out errors}. my isp says everything is fine on their end. i can login to ib webtrader though just not the tws server. any suggestions? thanks very much

hi.wondering if you can put an alert on right from the chart? and can you create daily charts with the IB feed or do you have to get another backfill feed. i'm using sierra chart right now but always looking.

what if you don't want to watch the screen all day so you put a order in above/below the range? with gold $4 is not a huge move nowadays. people need to be responsible for what they do.if a market is thin,don't use market orders. check what the trade is before you submit.i have almost screwed up...

yaa.they determine a price that they decide was the" real price"then add/minus $4(eg.gold). thats the price you would get,if your the person getting the bonus or the poor bugger who screwed up.

exactly-know what the "no bust ranges" are. with cme(globex) they adjust the price instead of busting it outright.unless its a malfunction then they bust it. ecbot,with gold/silver they also adjust it.i have it had happen a number of times. in the rulebook i read also about arbitration against...

you could just cover a portion of the winners that way you have some positive results

one time i did see them buy like crazy early then the # was great and the price collapsed.

i get the "invalid order" message also.not with the same order setup like criv. had though. it just started doing it randomly for some reason.it says outside of price limits.i think it means daily limit prices but the order isn't outside of these levels.
