Just got an email from my broker saying there is a new fee effective tommorow. It's called the trading activity fee, by the NASD, not the SEC, and it is $0.0001 per share, with a max fee of $10.

What about the PDT? I assume this still affects the account if you have only $5 or $10k in the account.

I need a new broker is what I am saying. The broker I use right now charges too much in commission, 12.95 per ticket, plus ECN fees. That kills me, especially since I do not like to purchase a position in one shot, I like to scale it in most of the time.

Seems very expensive and confusing. If I am correct, the only difference with the higher priced ones verus basic level II is the fact that it will show "hidden" reserve in the market depth, but not who it is? For instance if GSCO is at the best offer at 19.30, and showing 100 shares, but...
