I'm not an Oscar cheerleader, I just find him fun to watch. Never traded any of his calls, like I said just fun to see what happens and I find him entertaining. It was that much more interesting that he had the opposite call of apex. Good thing I went the opposite way today! I'm done for the...

Oscar was going to short NQ today but just cancelled all his orders. He didn't say anything about ES though, hmmmmm. Apex may have the edge at the moment.:)

    TV News and Finacial Reports

I watch Bloomberg TV online and they are pretty much right on time (although sometimes there is a few second delay which I'm sure is due to the internet connection). If you watch the futures you can tell exactly when they come out.

    Advice needed on auto-trading options

You should subscribe to some of the redoptions.com newsletters and follow them (not autotrade). You will learn something this way and then be able to trade on your own at some point.

Great overall post JJ! In regards to the above snippet of your post, I have been slowly coming to the same conclusion. I am looking at trading 1 system that is pretty much a day trading type system and I am currently trading another one that is more like a short term trend following system...

    DAX, STOXX reco's

I trade Stoxx because the margin is lower (not a good reason, not a bad reason but it is my reason). I think it moves pretty good during regular trading hours. Like anything else it moves very little/slowly in their afterhours (although it doesn't trade 24hrs like the eminis).

I know it can't be helped, it is part of the deal (still sucks though  ). I need to keep the faith and keep taking the signals, just dropping my risk a bit for now.

This flat market is killing my account as I have really done poorly the last few days. I missed out on all the action last week as I was away from my computer all week. Then I come back to trade a flat line market and get chewed up. I'm out until after the Fed stuff later today.

I'm holding long too. Thought we would get at least some upward movement after Alcoa but all we got after the bell was a drop. Fed notes in the afternoon will provide some fireworks I'm sure.
