I don't set stops inside the noise. I do at times move stops to BE when they've moved outside the noise but haven't entirely completed the projected move yet. I feel that's a sane use of BE stops and not a crutch.

I don't really think he's claiming these are *his* methods. It's not exactly rocket science to consider trends and AMT. Those alone won't necessarily make someone profitable - but they'll lead a step in the right direction if the trading style/mentality/theory is compatible with the trader.
