that's amazing. i just read over the turtle system and it sounds nearly identical to that of another poster on et that you and i have both read. only difference is the et poster used 10 day breakouts instead of 20 day, i believe.

i like er2 best b/c you get more bang for your buck. $100ppt., $10 per tick. usually little slippage - only a tick btwn bid and ask. fewer contracts per trade also keeps commissions down. to get $100 profit with er2, only need a point. need 2 points to get the same with es, for example...

amen, dude.... on that bright note, i traded er2 today for a $670 profit! intended to trade the 830 cpi report and did so, only 6 contracts, jumped on a bit late, but still pulled out $390. then traded the open, again only 6 contracts and made another $280 for a grand total of $670 after...

excellent points. i definitely think that trading is more morally consistent than most jobs and less soul-draining.... guilt in trading is ridiculous b/c you're not stealing from the poor or taking money from some more deserving or struggling person. people come into the markets to match...
