1. If you open position with plan to hold it to expiration, then you can submit order with how many options you want. But probably not all of them will be filled if your order is too large. Of course if you will offer good price, market makers will take it all no caring about your order size...

I don't use supports/resistance, trendlines, MAs anywhere in spread trading. But if it makes sense for you, why not :-) For intraday trading "seasonality" is usefull for sure. If you have some skills, you can also calculate seasonality charts on intraday data... (most of services/softwares...

Why not to stay where we like to be, if we have enough money to pay taxes :) Actually clean environment, safety, healthcare, civilized society, nature and weather (for me) - it is more important than taxes (if they are reasonable of course).
