The market cannot crash anymore. I move that is too big will halt the markets automatically plus they refuse sell orders. We had one a little more than a month ago. The market was halted for 5 seconds, all sell orders rejected. Then it was business as usual.

I tried it. The problem is that a lot of historical data requests via the API @ IB isn't the best thing invented. Optionsvue has the reflex to ask a lot of things quickly to check different scenarios out. Loading that data from IB isn't the best thing. Best is the use the optionvue data...

The good thing is that the video card is perfect for 2d work (charting) and does not contain any fans. So 0db sound. That video card came in a box from ATI where they put the GERMAN DAX trading bourse floor on it. So I guess they kinda made/target it for the financial markets. :-)

They would have to pay me more than $2M a year to stop me trading on my own. I have no clue why any good trader would want to stop trading his own account and starts giving half of his profits away. Doesn't make any sense.
