After getting stopped out yesterday, im back long. I hate the under 5 dollar crowd, it wastes capital, and 10k shares, you loose 1/8, and it's painfull, but im long 6k now b/c of the huger volume today, and if it makes a hod, i will take another 5k or so. Just a heads up.

I agree.. I've been playing this pattern for a month now...VERY GOOD RESULTS. I don't know. I was stopped out on ttpa when it gapped down again today. I made like 2500 total on that trade including my losses on the shares i held overnight. I may reenter if it looks stronger on fri though.

I agree. I normally get chewed up. But I decided to get big in this one just because there is 10k minimum on the bid/ask so you can get out. I was long as much as 12k at one point. I sold most at 15/16 - 3... I have 3500 left, but I will reload teh boat tomorrow. Big gap down yesterday, didn't...

i know cyber's is /ndh1 and /sph1 for this contract. I think they are vital. If you can read the charts right, you can usually predict the direction of hte market for at least the next half hour. I really don't think you can live without them.

nyse is much better.. but you have to understand specialists. You can almost always tell how his "book" looks based on just how he's setting up. I think it's much easier on nyse. Especaially cause you have all the liquidity you need.. and you just go in and out at market

I don't think he cuts. Just because of that wayne angell guys priced it into the market by now. So if he cuts intrameeting and we don't have a monster rally, or even go down, It will show the overseas investors that the fed is powerless and irrelevant. And then we could seriously tank.

In trading around an axe, what I basically do is just exit as soon as he shows up... In this market i find that i've been taking lots of quarters and halves instead of 1-3 pts like I used to. The bounces just aren't as big, and as a result, the axe is more prevalent.

BAsically... on something like jdsu, if the market gets jiggy, the axe will retreat. There is just too much volume for any one mm to hold it down. But on something that trades less, that same axe may be there for a week or more trying to complete his order. In that case, you might just want to...

BAsically the best opportunities for daytraders are situations where there is abnormally high volume being transacted.... CAuse the mm's are more concerned with moving the size order, and they don't care about your 2k shares. So I generally scan intraday for what's trading about 300% of volume...

forget all these complex orders. Just upgrade brokers.. so you have DAT capabilities.. and you can just make sure that you are always inside bid...

a simple cable modem is fine It will probably be just as fast as your quotes. Just make sure you ahve the RAM to handle whatever you get.. if you want to spend $ for an investment... Get a few hundred bucks worth of ram
