    currenex vs hotspotfxi

I agree especially re figures and hotspot. These days when it is volatile hotspot is next to useless. But currently (it is very quiet) my currenex euro dollar is 86 87 in 30*45 whereas to be fair hotspot is also 86 87 but in only 1*2. in cable currenex is 1 pip but hotspot 1.5...

    currenex vs hotspotfxi

Although I don't like it as a platform this isnt true. On the institutional platform you can cancel whenever you like.

    currenex vs hotspotfxi

Hotspots spreads are shocking and their tightest euro dollar is usally 1.5pips and then in only say 1mio by 1 mio. When it is volatile in my experience hotspot is terrible.

    Segregated funds or not?

Segregated funds is one of the biggest myths of the fx and futures industry. If you have funds ina segregated account all it means is that they can't be used to fund the on-going business of the company. However that does not mean your funds are safe. For example if company x has say $100m in...

    Problem with MB-Trading Client

This problem has been going on for several years with MBT/EFX and their spot prices. It was always freezing when I had access to it and you would be filled on prices never displayed. I had hoped that this bug had been fixed and was going to re-activate the account shortly. I...

Well they don't have an anonymous platform now so guess they are!

    FXall

FXall look like they are launching a platform to compete with the likes of Currenex and Hotspot. Great news for traders. Currently when it is volatile the liquidity in fx futures is appalling whereas with the ECNs it remains far better. Will be interesting to see if the futures ever...

Am I crazy or is FXCM crooked?

FXCM do have a 'spreader' so that they can adjust the prices coming onto their platform. That is how they make their profit. Indeed rather than receive a rebate from Currenex I should imagine they have to pay to use their software etc. How anyone can deal with another arm of a firm that has...

    Hotspot FXr

Interesting stuff - funny I find fills better on Lava and Currenex but you stick to Hotspot and I will keep the others and we are all happy (and filled!) But market orders on figures - are you insane. I havent used them since I was filled 20 pips under the real low of the day after a figure...

    Hotspot FXr

2 cents loves it. I think Lava and Currenex are far btter although I do use it. For example at the moment Hotspot in cable is 45 48 with 4mio on the bid and 1 on the offer. Currenex is 45 47 with 13 and 9 respectively and lava 44 46, 8 by 10.

    OANDA default stop loss WARNING

I always find these threads amusing when one poster says you must trade with so and so and to use another is madness. Everyone has different styles and requirements so not everyone will find the same platform meets their needs. I have accounts with the CME, currenex, lava, hotspot oanda and a...

anyone trade Forex with MB Trading ?

I used MBT for spot about a year ago. It was appaling - always freezing and getting filled at non current rates. I closed my account very quickly. It is possible it has now resolved these issues - I will watch this thread with interest.

Currenex trade fees and platform fees

Depending on volume it should be $15-$25 (maybe $30) per million dollars. If you did huge volume you could get it lower than $15.

    Blacklisted by Brokers

What hasn't been said about Ideal pro is that (I believe) the fills are not automatic. Every time you send an order the bank that it is routed to can accept or reject the trade. This can be used to obviously to the detriment of the trader. I am not saying it is but it is possible. I...
