Stock screener for previous day high-low crossings

There are two types of scanners/screeners. One uses server-side processing - it works on the whole universe of stocks, but only has predetermined pre-programmed set of criteria (that could be quite extensive, and could be combined, but is not fully custom). Second type: client-side processing...

US Feds Recover Colonial Hacker’s BTC Ransom

That's speculation. Bloomberg doesn't know and FBI isn't tellin'.

US Feds Recover Colonial Hacker’s BTC Ransom

It says "The private key for the Subject Address is in the possession of the FBI". How they got hold of the private key is the crux of the matter.

US Feds Hack Darkside - Crypto Loses Its’ Kryptonite

Finding addresses is child's play. The key is this: How they got hold of the private key is the question. I really hope it was something other than cracking it open. Because if it was cracked, that's the end of bitcoin.

Best charting/order entry combination for day trading stocks with IB

On each MT window (like a watch list, or L2 or DOM etc) there is a data source that you can specify. On trading windows - such as trading ticket, L2, chart, or DOM - there is a trading source (broker). All windows are independent of each other so you can have L2 from one source, watch list from...

Best charting/order entry combination for day trading stocks with IB

IMO, separating the market feed from the trading broker on the client side has no downsides. The up side is that if your broker's market feed glitches out (as we have seen with TDA several times this year) you just switch on the client side to another source and chug along. And yes there is lag...

Best charting/order entry combination for day trading stocks with IB

You can use Medved Trader with Ameritrade as the data source, and submit orders from Medved Trader through IB. It's mix and match with any of the brokerages and quotes sources we support.

IB switched to shares only for L2?

That new rule for odd lots, though it makes some sense in terms of price protection, REALLY doesn't make sense if it is used for display... Not only will the user have to figure out in his head what "3" means based on stock price - whether it is 300 or 30, but now there is an additional...

IB switched to shares only for L2?

From what I understand, when showing round lots only (that is, 3 for 300 shares) - * it would show 3 for 390 shares as well. * if there was 90 shares only, that entry would not be shown

Best way to "say" an option

:) I am not translating MT to Russian, so it is irrelevant - just saw that word "опцион" and was amazed at how stilted and awkward it sounded.

:) Yes we do have candle pattern detection built in. Among other things.

Best way to "say" an option

(no, in Russian it should be "опцион" (though it sounds awkward)) :) I know how to do text-to-speech on the word "option". I was asking how to convert something like TSLA_210604C700 to speech (in English) From what newwurldmn said, it probably should be "T S L A June Fourth Seven Hundred...

Best way to "say" an option

Did you say "mar" or "march"? Are you saying that for regular options you didn't say the day but for weeklies you did?

Best way to "say" an option

Am doing text-to-speech in alerts. What is the best/most acceptable way to pronounce an option. Let's say TSLA_210604C700 TSLA Call 700 June 4 '21 TSLA 700 June 4 21 Call .. etc I could omit the year if it is current year... Which is the "industry" way?

Ok I should have said non-brokerage data provider.

Real Time streaming Index Data - least expensive?

What would be the least expensive real time data provider for indices - US and European? Either individual subs or, if it is worth it, bulk redistribution sub?
