What do you think of this feature

On a chart, have a way to display option open interest quantities visually at various strikes for a particular expiration date or a combo of expiration dates? Would this be something desirable?

    New round lot rule

I could not find any more recent press releases. Maybe my google-fu is at fault. The most recent relevant page I found is this: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/nms-ii-doesnt-fix-the-odd-lot-problem-2021-05-06 which just reiterates the same scheme and still doesn't answer my questions.

    New round lot rule

? what example. 1. At what date are they putting the rule into effect? 2. Let's say the stock price changes from 249 to 251 during the day. Is the round lot size determined based on previous day's close (so it just stays at 100 for the whole day) or is it 100 for the part of the day where the...

    New round lot rule

https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-311 Does anyone know the date when it goes into effect? Also, it is not clear what the reference price is. Is it previous close price or is it actually the price of the lot?

Data provider for real time tick-by-tick data

I am working on the dxfeed implementation in MT. Should be released to our users fairly shortly. As for MT streaming API being used in Motivewave - it can be used by anyone who can do Websockets with JSON or XML. It allows you to connect to any of the data sources from MT and...

Data provider for real time tick-by-tick data

DXFeed also has full CTAUTP feed available (for more than $29). I am getting to know DXFeed intimately :) since I am implementing it in Medved Trader currently. And yes, the problem with DXFeed is you subscribe to it for a particular application, not in general. Once I fully implement it in MT...

Data provider for real time tick-by-tick data

IQFeed will work for 1s bars, definitely. So will most other "real time" sources - the aggregation is usually something like half a second or less. DXFeed seems to be a tick feed as well, not sure if it is available to individuals.

WiFi is fine, as long as the signal strength is ok.

    Daytrading crypto ? How to?

Koros, each Crypto exchange - such as Coinbase Pro, Kucoin or Binance - is its own entity. There is no broker-exchange model, AFAIK, in the crypto world. You trade on an exchange. No brokers involved. I don't think any exchanges have account minimums. The exchanges stand on their own, and are...

    No rent due until October!!

"The Left" has capitulated to "the Radical Left" a while ago. Just look at "the Left" forcing language like "birthing persons" instead of "mothers" in US federal laws. It's not "the Radical Left" doing it.

There are "Limit on Close" orders. That may be what you want.

Can you use your losses to lower your capital gain tax?

To make sure - fully, right? Not subject to the $3000 limit.

    No rent due until October!!

Unless the Supreme Court's five supposed "conservatives" get mad about Biden crapping all over their decision - it will just get extended more. And that would require Kavanaugh to obtain a spine and a set of balls from somewhere.

Can you use your losses to lower your capital gain tax?

My question: You have 20K net capital loss in year 1. For argument's sake, it is short term. It carries over. Year 2 you have net short term capital gain of 10K. Does the 20K carryover offset the whole 10K capital gain, making it 0 for the year (and 10K carryover remaining)? The following...

Toyota is quietly pushing Congress to slow the shift to electric vehicles

Toyota is quietly pushing Congress to slow the shift to electric vehicles

Tesla rep was fantasizing. The problem with fully autonomous vehicles is the "fully" part. It cannot be 90%. Or 95%. Or even 98%. As long as it is not 100%, solidly and fully 100%, it will require you to sit behind a wheel, alert and ready to take over. And as long as you're behind the wheel...

Toyota is quietly pushing Congress to slow the shift to electric vehicles

Fully autonomous vehicles are like fusion reactors. They will always be 10 years in the future.
