    SPY is leading the ETF's

Hrmmm...thoughts? I don't like that volume at resistance at all. I'd much rather have seen low volume on a failure to breakout, seems like possible distribution to me. I might say that was decent volume, so all effort with no result. $TRIN closed well above the 2.0 level. Based on that...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

Long term investing right now could be an incredible place to be, I feel the market has a VERY good shot at breaking into bull trend mode again soon. In January I predicted the 14k dow level to be tested (if not smashed) this year, let's see how much doom n' gloom is left and if I'm really...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

Agreed, I see the same setup on weekly for all those ETF's. Could be the perfect bull storm brewing or an epic fail. I'm bullish and we'll see where we close the week at. Weekly is kind of what I'm focused on for the mid term. Week isn't over but that macd cross is tasty looking. :)...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

The mania has been going on for quite some time...the gold rush takeover. They are pretty well blown apart though and some contraction seems to be in order here. Let's see if the market has put in the bottom or if the metals continue to run away. Here is part of why I think the market...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

True...though it depends on how heavy the sellers are panicking and how much effort is put in to stop the bleeding. I would still wait for confirmation tomorrow and see how it opens even being an aggressive trader. Though I still say the safest bet is the buy and sell stops outside the...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

Nice...we are on the same page there. Most think I'm nuts for saying the USD is more less owned by foreign investors. We are puppets on strings of the worlds TRUE wealthy. Print Print Print all the money till the press burns out. How bout fractional lending, thats as bad if not worse than the...

    SPY is leading the ETF's

Thanks for that info. Never heard of it though I'm a relative noob with less than 2 years experience. "Fresh meat" as some call it. Very interesting read, I wouldn't doubt it totally. That money came from somewhere and the hedge funds probably can't get much for lending right?

    SPY is leading the ETF's

IWM looks about the same to me though it held a bit better on the 1st tankage. QQQQ looks good as well, I like how the macd has drifted up instead of whipsawing. That's some smooth divergence on that puppy.

    SPY is leading the ETF's

ALL the index ETF's are showing similar traits with divergence and volume based support. One set stands out from the others to me though and thats the SPY/ S&P. I think this guy has a chance at leading the way for what's to come in the broad markets. Here is my view. I remain bullish mid...

    Making a living with a $30K account

Very good input. That's the issue for most with leverage, they tend to go ballz to the wall instead of slow and steady.

Fuggin A. At least it took him some time, he could have lost that much in a week perhaps. ;) Thanks for the update.

    Turbo Tax and 1256 Contracts

Thanks a ton! Just saved me a headache at minimum and an audit worst case. ;)

67 Trades. 2 contracts per trade. $1200 net.

Good point, if on paper it means nothing. If live, that's pretty nice profit to be new to the game. IMO.

The stupid and irresponsible "home owners" bail out is happaning

Yep Yep. I'm disgusted at the US and how it rewards losers and those that make bad life decisions. Financially and crime wise as well. Those of us with morals and attitudes of responsibility get $hat on left and right while those that fear no consequence have that feeling for a reason...

    Doesn't anyone remember 2000?

All I can say is I see shorts going in Friday. Great place to get short as it seems, 50ema/trendline/fib ambush zone/structure resistance/. Notice it did break those only to be rejected, another reason I think those were shorts going in on an upthrust. I'll be amazed if Monday is green, but...

Taking 76K to 500K by Year End

HAHAHAH Nice. Riches or Ruins... Ballz to the wall... Like Nike says JUST DO IT!!! I disagree, I say f the 500k target cause the pressure will make you take dumb trades as the year closes in on you. Just take each trade for what it is and ease back in and build your winner mentality...

    Doesn't anyone remember 2000?

It will bounce, but not till most the weak hands are flushed out. It was left at LOD over the weekend to infuse panic in people and I bet we see them run to the hills early on. My guess is later near EOD or tomorrow we get the bounce. I see some concerning distribution on the DJI but I don't...
