LongShot, how many points scored on NQ today?

I know that cbot is lowering mini-dow fees at the start of 2004, does anyone know if cme also plans to reduce fees on NQ and ES? Since IB has been courteous to pass the savings to their clients on them YM, they might do a similar thing on the nq and es.. Thanks for info 50

donno dude... i just a madafakin p.i.m.p... just kidding, as i wrote earlier: YM is the most overshooting contract. ES is the the absolute leader of the market. NQ, therefore, is the contract to trade, since it's somewhere in the middle. It doesn't rinse as much as the ym and it follows...

It's not over yet dude, if you ever short (or long) the QQQ, and put a stop order (say, $1 away from your entry price), rest assured that your stop order will be taken out, without the QQQ ever reaching there. That's right. It happened to me twice. I took QQQ swing long on March 2003...

I think CME lowers commissions sometime real soon, hopefully IB will reduce commissions following that. Lower commissions on YM is really nice but true, it's the ES and NQ that really count..

CME have different quote feeds for data providers (like eSignal, dtn or whatever) and for brokers. The broker data feed is more reliable. There may be some skips and misses in the data providers data.

I believe that my edge won't work in this market, so I'm letting it go for the time being. In other words, I doubt an NQ trader can switch to trading FX without facing some major difficulties.

Tea, I was bothered too but there is a way to remove this: RightClick the chart, choose Edit Studies, and un-check "Display Description"
