Fundamentals ..........now that's an hombre I pretty much totally avoid. He is so full of manipulative crapola. I just use my own stuff. That's all I have found that I can trade...........and of course it's not easy. We are in a game here that is .........whew, difficult. After 25 years I...

    The S&P has topped !

I wonder if this is a common human trait and what causes it and how to prevent it. Some talk about "shorting the pullback" and so forth. Of course shorting pullbacks is nice if you are really good at it historically (who is?), but even if you are expecting a quick pullback why not just go long...

However I did come accross this data below that seems be showing his portflio track record from 2000 to 2009, and it does look like a very high batting average. Yearly performance summaries for the $15K, $20K, and $25K portfolios: $15K: 2001 = $17,697.50; 2002 = $9,417.20; 2003 = $26,665...

OK...........I recieved Brian's trading track record for the first eight months of 2010. He started with a balance of approximately 25,000 and had a balance of 29,500 at the end of August. According to my calculations that's a profit of about 18%. Not real great, especially considering that...

    SPY options problem at IB

Can you explain what NBBO is? Even with an IB employee stating exactly to me what the exchange people were expalining to him you are insisting that this is false or untrue?? Mighty confusing??? Ron

    SPY options problem at IB

Well just maybe IB or the folks at the exchange are trying to play it a little straighter as I traded SPY options a few times Friday and the fills were right on, no delays, no problems. Maybe it's good to post problems in detail as soon as they start. Thanks again to all who shared...
