    Price is Blind Man's Bluff.

The more I stare at price, the more blind I become. I curse price, and shall follow my guide instead. If I only focus on the numbers on the right side of the screen, I'd stay blind to the true catalyst that's causing the levels to rise and fall. I could paint rainbows and unicorns on the...

I'm not a fan of "Head and Shoulder" formations... but this might be one...

That's a very fast trade, which probably fits your personality. For 2 ticks you must make a lot of trades. I trade for 30, 100 and 200 ticks in my system, in time it might take 15 minutes to 3 hours depending how the market is moving.

Appreciate your answer. I only played around with range bars, but no serious structure to learn how they function. I'm addicted to volume based bars. (Large volume)

Hi there VSTscalper, I no longer use tick charts, but I'd use tick ranges between 2000 to 10000. How can you keep up with a 7 tick bar? It would be flying across the screen. I can't imagine that size in Nasdaq or S&P Futures. What do you trade?

So I don't use stops and I think the math supports this.

No patience and no stop loss equates to being a part-time gambler trying to make some beer money. Is it possible to reach CPT status (consistently profitable trader) without PATIENCE? NO.

I wonder what predictive analytics these firms might be using. Maybe Professor Engle's ARCH/GARCH methods of forecasting volatility?

In Texas idling rigs make more than mining crypto

The only thing I see, are people of the liberal persuasion who can't, or won't espouse their ideas? WHY? (most of us know why) There are a hundred reasons why I could never be a democrat. Since there may be children reading this Forum, I'll skip reasons 1 through 4 and just purse over reason #5...

In Texas idling rigs make more than mining crypto

I posted what I believe as a Conservative. Mr Trump has already proven he values conservative ideas. If he's not in prison, he will get my vote again. How odd, liberals always resort to what they consider negative positions for conservatives, but never espouse their ideas. Do they have any...

In Texas idling rigs make more than mining crypto

I love STRONG people who are not passive. People willing to live what they believe. That's the character of people here in Texas. Not everyone of course, but most of the people I've met here love CONSERVATIVE VALUES. Weak minded people don't make it in trading, just like weak minded people...

In Texas idling rigs make more than mining crypto

I moved from Seattle, WA to Texas 5 years ago. Compared to Washington State, and all of the west coast, this place is heaven.

What is your way of identifying trend reversals?

This is not in support of sales people advertising their products. I use volume based charts, which are a great way of identifying trend reversals. As an illustration every BLUE DOT on this volume based chart is a signal for a reversal. Works for me.

    Copper theft

This company has a security issue. I suspect employees are involved, as it would take an inside operation using forklifts and trucks to move that much copper.

Resources for Improving Mental Resilience and Discipline?

Try self-hypnosis. Works very well if you're determined and stick with it. The material I used was from Dr John Cappas. If Dr Cappas does not resonate with you, I'm sure you can find other sources for hypnosis online.

If he used proceeds to feed the poor would it still be a complaint? If allegations are proven true, Mr Kazmi should enjoy his next Government paid vacation at the nearest Federal prison. Items purchased with ill-gotten gains is irrelevant.

Back test your decision to use back testing

Person A: I have a strategy. Person B: Test the strategy with 100 to 150 trades. Person A: I'm too lazy for that, I'll just use a back-testing machine. Person B: I see Person A: This sucks, back-testing gave negative results Person B: Is it possible if you actually trade the strategy you might...
