    Liquidity Trading

Did you ever see what was going on in WCOME from May until its demise? There were hundreds of traders trying to make money that way. Many were very successful too. I know a couple guys who were pulling over $100k a month out of the market just through rebates. They were trading way more...

Does anyone use this Elliot Wave Analyzer

I get the same crappy e-mails. Kind of annoying. There's no way I'd buy the software. As for Elliott Wave itself, I agree with the general premise of the theory, but feel that it's basically useless in it's application.

    scalping sunw

You can't make money scalping SUNW for pennies unless you work for a prop firm that doesn't charge commissions. That last statement is inaccurate. Is it a good method for a newbie to learn in this market? Well, I admit it's probably not ideal, after all you can't trade that style on your...

    50K into 50000000K

Don't eat too many and try and trade though. If you eat too many you won't even be able to figure out how to use your keyboard. You ever go to a bar on 2 grams or more? Fuck, you can't even figure out simple money math. Ever try to roll a joint? Very challenging. A buddy of mine once ate...

    Is TODAY the day???

Uh, how about the 5th or the 15th? Today's was somewhat larger then those two, but the market was also very oversold this morning.

    Is TODAY the day???

Is today the day? In my opinion, no. Of course I could be wrong, but I think this is a good opportunity to get short again, depending on how the market starts tomorrow.

the trend is up, market has bottomed.

I said it once, I'll say it again... (However, I do think there will be a small bounce over the next couple days)

    Nasdaq 5k

What you have to say about bubbles is completely true. In fact, I would expect something like that to happen again somewhere down the road (perhaps 20-30 years from now?). That's just human nature. There's also this weird romanticism about technology stocks. For some reason, people get all...

    Nasdaq 5k

I say 20-30 years, but that's not an alternative on this poll. Even after the massive declines of the last 2 years, tech is still easily the most overvalued sector of the U.S. markets (not that I'm a buy and hold guy or anything like that). It's gonna take a while for the Naz to quadruple in...

    Is Daytrading a Random Event?

Certainly short term daytrading involves risk. But the odds are favorable to those who know what they're doing. It's not like pulling the arm of a slot machine. People who think it's just pure luck are ignorant.

Remember the good old days when you could press the Soes key and you knew that you would only have to pay one fee?

    ISLD book

It doesn't necessarily have to be hidden to print at 20.123. You just have to have island book integrated into your L2 to see it there, that's all. If you were to watch WCOM for example, you would notice that the spread is in fact only .1-.2 cents most of the time and your L2 should show...

    any WCOM traders?

That was me. Sorry about that.

    SuperMontage vs. ISLD Hidden Orders

It depends on how high the stock's price is. If its got a high price, seeing shaved prices on L2 becomes pretty useless. However, I wouldn't wanna play WCOM without seeing three decimals on my L2.
