Politicians are always looking for a scapegoat. It's funny how no one complained about how speculators drove prices up to ridiculously overvalued levels 3 years ago. That's the primary cause of this bear market.

The SEC sucks, why can't they get their act together like the CFTC?

The uptick rule (on liquid issues) is so stupid it boggles the mind. Does the SEC really think this rule will prevent the market from driving a stock's price into the toilet?

I was having the exact same problem but I just switched my OS from Windows 98 (Second Edition) to XP Pro and it's way better now.

I went to the multex investor stock screener, put in S&P 500 membership as the only criteria, and the market-cap weighted average P/E of those stocks was 20.396 (as of Oct. 9).

Anyone trade CSCO today or any other Nasdaq stock that Amex trades on now? I found it the way it held up runs to be quite annoying. Sometimes it would cross the market by as much as 3 or 4 cents. I guess this is a sign of things to come though...

This sucks, I just started trading the Spiders a month ago and the quotes I use only show island and instinet (through a prop firm, not a broker btw). Now I can't trade SPY at all, f*** you Amex!!! (Or the SEC, whoever is responsible for this)

I feel that the reason there are less women traders then men is because you need balls to trade. Simple fact of the matter is that a lower percentage of women possess said balls.

All I do is go to www.prophetfinance.com, then I use Javacharts to get the chart I want. If you go to "print chart", it'll give you an image that you can save as a .gif file without printing.
