    Pictures of your trading stations

Any particular reason why you chose not to stack 3 high instead - my inclination is to stack 3 high on next upgrade but I am wondering if you are factoring in something I may have missed. Third level would basically be radarsreen type alert grids at low resolution.

The Most Underestimated Risk In Trading

Most understimated? Counterparty risk i.e your broker goes under with your funds. SIPC stocks may de facto riskless although you may underestimate how long to get your funds back. CFTC coverage is PSEUDO coverage - it just looks like you are protected. I agree his applies more to institutions...

`Black Swan' Author Says Investors Should Sue Nobel for Crisis

e.g Trickle down economics? That justification for tax cuts for the super rich is negated by what I was told by a Director of a store chain in Indonesia that catered to the poor - he told me the poor spend every additional money they get immediately because hey have a permanent backlog of things...

`Black Swan' Author Says Investors Should Sue Nobel for Crisis

There is always some unprincipled ambitious (or stupid) academic who will come out with a theory to support some political agenda. The nature of science as encapsulated in 'science advances one funeral at a time' means that any BS can be supported if it comes from someone or somewhere...

`Black Swan' Author Says Investors Should Sue Nobel for Crisis

"in the absence of taxes, bankruptcy costs, and asymmetric information, and in an efficient market" In other words in ivory tower tenured idiot professor land. Does anybody who operates in the real world pay any attention to finance professors? There was this man called Greenspan who...

That’s a hole that no fleet of Fed helicopters can fill...

In 13th century England the solution was to lock the moneychangers in their counting houses and then set fire to the counting houses.

That’s a hole that no fleet of Fed helicopters can fill...

The banks will get their usual exemption from the law of the land so they can foreclose. Judging by the Banks cavalier attitude to the law, in a just society they would be closed down as criminal organisations.

Waddell & Reed E-Mini Trades Said to Help Trigger May 6 Crash

Jeez, the US markets are just so bent and corrupt now. Obviously the SEC can't be allowed to get in the way of banks and funds skimming money from main street retirement funds via the huge skimming operation that HFT is. Of course, it was a mutual fund selling futures, how could HFT have had...

Bill gates: will not pass down fortune to children.

You are so cynical. The mega rich and elite are cuddly people who just want to do what's best for children and bunny rabbits round the world.

Yes, consolidation in the Landesbanken sector is what we have all been waiting for. I for one have been unable to sleep these last few months due to this uncertainty in the Landesbanken sector.

    Isn't $50B peanuts for road-building? Why not $2 trillion?

You will probably find that $50b is the amount required to build specific roads that will, when built, improve the access to and thus value of property holdings of members of the elite. Maybe somebody's golf or ski resort development isn't selling well because it lacks good access. What did you...
