Does anyone trade the YM in the evening, EST? Enough volatility, generally?, maybe 7:30 through 10:30?

I'm figuring the lower commissions would help if get more active swing trading to build capital while saving for a larger account. I'm curious why you would stay with Ameritrade
Is just2trade considered a "real' direct access system? I didn't see anything about minimum number of trades or...
I'm just curious about speed and accuracy of ameritrade level2. just2trade looks like a strong possibility . I just want inexpensive trades and conditional orders. Active trading is a longer term goal.

I'll probably stick with them for a while until I'm placing more trades.
I'll let you know. I just took a trade and got stopped out with a small loss--didn't follow my rules and tried to get slick and got slapped. I wish I only paid a total of $5 commission instead of $20.....

Back in '01 I was trying to get licenced and trade prop--
didn't deposit any $ but they closed shop without...

definately an option. getting my feet wet placing a swing trade here and there when I see a nice setup-when I start trading more that would save lots of $

Would anyone care to comment on their experience with this broker? I noticed that they added conditional orders where a stop loss can be placed if one cannot monitor the market after an order gets filled. I was hoping they would add this.
