IE goes blank "Invalid syntax error"

I don't know if this will help solve your problems but this is what happened to me. I had a virus warning (real time scan) and I couldn't get rid of it. (I'm happy it only changed my homepage to another site) When I contacted support of my virus scanning software they suggested I tried...

Any prop firms willing/able to compete?

I've seen the RMLwebsite, but I don't think they are cheaper... Please explain. Per share pricing : $0.005 / share (+ ticket fee +/- ECN) Per ticket pricing : $3.95 / trade Compare this to Genesis at max $0.003/share

    ECNs ticker symbols

I didn't knew the answer as well, but I asked someone who I think should know it and he told me that if you post through an ECN the quote only shows in the book of this ECN. So if you post through INET, the only book thatwould show your bid / offer would be the INET book. Again, not sure if...

    Bobl/bund limit orders

Who is your broker ? I've used IB's TWS and J-Trader to trade bund / bobl and never experienced any problems... Unless of course your trying to buy @ bid and sell @ ask. Since they both have a decent (huge) volume, executions shouldn't be to much of a problem.

    Genesis Q&A

I assume this is only for OPENING positions. If I need to close a position and for some reason (technical) I have no access to your software, I should be able to close a position without extra charges. I have some other Q as well, I will contact you in the near future to see if we can work...

Any prop firms willing/able to compete?

Everybody is talking about a pro(p) deal here, but Genesis offers the same rates (with a $1,- minimum) for RETAIL traders as well. For people who have their reasons not to trade pro(p) this is certainly the best deal around. I'm going to contact them and see if we can work things out...

    Ecn Fees

I know they are working on some changes, but don't know if/when they will become active. We had a conference call with someone from NASDAQ about this and all he could say that it was likely they implemented 2/1 (now 3/2) very soon... To your last Q, I think you will pay 2.....

A casino has only a slight edge so...

INET is an ECN (Merger Island and Instinet) = a market place like GLOBEX for futures but on the NASDAQ there're multiple market places. They all want to attract traders (so most of the volume is traded through their ECN).This is done by giving you rebates for adding liquidity and charging you...

What timeframes for daytrading are you mostly using?

Always look at multiple time frames. Personally the smallest time frame I look at (and also my trading time frame) is 1 minute. For confirmation I look at the higher time frames (5,10,60,D)

A casino has only a slight edge so...

Rebates .... When entering and closing a trade and getting the rebates, you have a statistical edge. Example : 1000 shares Entry / Exit through INET ($2,- for adding liquidity) If I make $0.05 with 1000 shares, I make $50,- + $4,- = $54.- If I lose $0.05 with 1000 shares, I lose...
