hmm, you are wrong about that. they are not interchangeable. non-solicitation is when you can't recruit (solicit) from the same firm but can trade elsewhere. non-compete says you can't trade elsewhere. Big difference. you can have one and not the other.

the series 3 was a joke. i took it awhile ago but it takes about 1/3 of the time to complete vs. the series 7. its possible to get a 100% on the 3 but difficult on the 7 simply because its so long. its very difficult to fail the 3. can study a few days and pass.

i tend to agree with you easy. this is a place for traders. that's how traders have always behaved since the beginning of time. if you don't like the ocassional crudeness, just filter it out. there's still good info here.

there's no diff from nyse and naz when a stock is tanking and there are no upticks. you need the bullet. and if your p&l is in the middle seven figures (in the last 5 years), then you're right, your p&l is better than mine but if it isn't i would keep p&l out of this.

i'm glad i'm not the only one saying that its essential to use bullets on naz stocks. only a rookie would say to use bullets on nyse stocks. you use bullets anytime you can make even a few cents on a trade. why wait and miss the trade? i trade size and put up bullets for size.

robert, that's exactly what i'm saying. the cost of a bullet is absolutely worth it unless you are only capable of making .01 a share on the trade.

for most firms, bullets cost about 1.5 cents per share if not less. if you had to wait for an uptick and the stock already fell 10 cents, wouldn't it make it worth it?? on 10k shrs, i believe its $850. that's a day's pay for most people. i do that all day long, at least i try to.

i've had the same problem with java apps via cable modem. but my other apps work fine with no delays. btw, for trading, you really should upgrade to at least a p3.

why wouldn't you want to use bullets on naz stocks? i use bullets all the time on them. if you are a scalper/daytrader, by the time you get the uptick, you've lost the trade in most cases. the previous post is not accurate.

i've used both and real tick is much more stable. not sure which has more about the bells and whistles though. qcharts indicators kept going down so i cancelled.
