Equities have alot of regulations, requiring licenses to trade with investments from other people. As well as only allowing set fees, not profit splits. Are options more free from these restrictions and license requirements(Series 7 etc)?

I don't know if it's possible to know whether it's a pullback or reversal. I mean, obviously you can wait to see what happens, but then you're losing profit on the next move by getting in late. And it can still reverse after moving up a little bit, and the late entry now gives much less...

Ok, so you have an idea of where it's going wrong. Make a rule to never exit until it hits your stop, and work on keeping it.

In my experience, the direction it gapped overnight doesn't tell you whether it will go up or down at the open. But the chat room I am part of uses gappers as a way to find the stocks that will be alive that day.

My experience has been to just trade and gain experience. And eventually create a conceptual understanding of how price patterns move, and find the right entries to give you an edge. You'll never create a model that is always right, but you can definitely get an edge.

IB sent an email stating that it will not allow large market orders to move prices, and it fills in increments. Has anyone noticed this effect, and is it significantly spread out?
