I'm also thinking about using CQG. My FCM is GHCO, which doesn't offer Eurex in CQG. The current version of J-trader isn't too bad, it now uses Sun JVM. If J-trader's reliability is good enough, I may not swith to CQG.

In the simplest way, set a margin level and divide the balance by that margin. The margin doesn't change regardless of the balance. That's called fixed ratio.

When the bubble in hot regions burst, what would happen to mild growth regions? I don't think most people would sell their homes and relocate to cheap areas.
