    Delphi for Development?

Most guys in the industry are mediocre, but there are also many genius architects. You should come up with solid arguments why Python is superior and yet doesn't become mainstream. .Net is a one-stop shop with everything needed: GUI, ADO, XML,.... At least Python doesn't have such convenience.

    Delphi for Development?

nononsense, I know you're a long time fan of Python. But the industry seems divided by Java and .Net, and I'm going to move to C#. If Python is so good, why it doesn't become mainstream?

When are they going to anounce the return of 30-year bond?

When are they going to announce the return of 30-year bond? They are going to make the decision in August whether to bring back the 30-year bond. It's scary to me not knowing when a market moving news will be released.

Trading Technologies (TT) Patent (Trademaven and Ninja Trader)

Thanks for the reply. I'd rather pay a little fee for using static ones. It's difficult to chase price move in a dynamic ladder like the Reflector in J-Trader.

Does Refco Pro use dynamic ladder?

Trading Technologies (TT) Patent (Trademaven and Ninja Trader)

You mean Refco Pro uses dynamic ladder? Dynamic ladder definitely is not as good, otherwise TT's patent would be worthless.

Why the lowest ones don't include Florida and Texas? Property tax taken into account?

    state income tax

You also need to consider the time zone. If you live in Pacific time zone and trade CBOT, you have to start working at 5:00 am. I think Central time is the best. As for property tax, I don't think it's important compared to state income tax.

    how low can PCs go?

I'm more interested in the high end PC. My next one would likely be a AMD 64X2 with 2G RAM. It's really worthwile for a trader pay $2000 for a good PC. I can't understand why some of you are interested in the low end.

I need to correct my previous statement, FCM does have commission on top of CQG fees.

    thoughts on commissions in futures

Thanks for the reply, does the above quote require additional monthly fee? Flash future is an IB of Alaron, which doesn't offer Eurex for CQG. Among major FCMs, only Refco offers it.
