Begging for a pullback in commodities

Ha. Let's take gold as an example. I have been waiting for gold to pull back since Oct. Look at what dismal pullback it has done. In the meantime, the dollar is going down the toilet. Weak economy suppose to cause weak commodity price, but with Ben hammering rate every now and...

Best way to divest from USD now (panicked)

Fee is just wiring fee and account size should be big enough to not incur fees. I will care more about low exchange rate spread. Yes, convenience need to be there. Good interest rate and good exchange rate for 10+ so foreign currency choices. Chase has horrible exchange rate spread...

Short term, CDs in foreign currency. I don't know why US bank don't offer service like that. I end up taking the foreign bank account route (HSBC HK). You have to report it to IRS though.

A Fed that doesn't care about inflation

Wait till China export their inflation at 7% per year to US. At that point, CPI is not going to save Ben. That could be next quarter, then what will Ben do. Inflation + no growth + weak dollar at the same time! lol

    Trading Chinese Yuan

Blah, I do as part of my hedging plan. It is a pain in the a** to do though and it is hard to get in and out. RMB is not longer fix to US dollar. No possible after what Ben did. China has higher inflation and less of a growth problem than US.

Lets see... do I believe in what the price of wheat, gold, silver, copper, iron core, oil and etc tell me. ...or believe in long bond rates. Now, look at why other countries have problem with inflation and for some reason, US said inflation is contained. The stories don't match...

    Too late for NZD/AUD?

Correct. That's what I mean too late. Will US dollar rebound or just stay flat or down? :) There is a risk of dollar rebound but there is also a risk of dollar continue its decline. If it is 50-50 risk, that 5% yield is extra. NZD is at 7%. I am looking for low risk, short term way to...

Bernanke Warns Economy Worsening - **Buy Commodities**

Fed will prefer slow growth and high inflation, since servicing debt is a main cost in US. IE : weak dollar policy. At some point, this will backfire and bond rate will go up and we will be in stagflation and high interest rate era. One thing will come out of this is : anyone earning a...
