You know -- where you go to sell and you accidently buy, etc. Let's say you're trading 5 ES contracts and you hit buy instead of sell. You're already sitting at a .25 loss. Do you immediately bail and write it off as the occasional trading error or do you hang around hoping to break even?

Traden4Alpha, Thanks for the support. Actually, I only captured an hour's worth of market data because my program started acting up. I got a little excited and coded too many things at once and didn't double check all of them. I put it in autotrader mode and the log file got shut off...

Breakout, I have a question. When I start trading full time and start making money (if that ever happens), let's organize a "Traders in Amsterdam" trip. They have great coffee over there, a lot of Casinos -- and I even hear they have women in this red light area.

Gordon Gekko, All kidding aside -- you can't look at that chart and see perfect set-up points? Maybe you use a different system than I do, but all I would do is just go long when the red MA line moves upward immediately after it has been going downward and short it when it turns back down...

I have to say that, after checking out esignals new tick charts (where candles are composed of ticks and not time), I am probably never going back to time charts again. 50 tick charts and 250 tick charts are definately much better than those time charts -- at least for my style of trading...

Joe D, I have used esignal for a month, alongside two other different real-time quote systems for ES. I never saw esignal experience a severe lag such as 60 seconds. That type of lag would be completely unacceptable on a reoccuring basis. If there system has a glitch, perhaps it may go...

I give you major kudos for sticking with your plan -- but maybe you should pause, review the system and regroup?
