job market is grim, particularly if u r 50+

What a narrow-minded, asinine perspective... Yeah, there are idiots who squandered their chance. But, not everyone of them did. There are plenty of rational, prudent 50-somethings that got absolutely screwed by companies the likes of Enron, MCI, Lehman, Bear Stearns, and on and on. And...

are 1600x1200 monitors still being made?

A lot of cheap displays are cheap for a reason. Same goes for the expensive ones. It all comes down to the technology behind the display.

Nope. Two best businesses to own are beverage routes and pizzerias.

    Stage Hands Earning $290,000

Income Overall, the distribution of household income in New York City is characterized by tremendous disparities. This phenomenon is especially true of Manhattan, which in 2005 was home to the wealthiest U.S. census tract, with a household income of $188,697, as well as the poorest, where...

    my new system

If all you plan to do is run games then go for it. But, if you plan to actually depend on this computer to make a living and the seller doesn't live in the same zipcode as you then you are out of your fracking mind.

What would you choose...money or happiness?

Well, since happiness can't buy you money I'd have to go with the money if only for the chance to prove this insipid saying wrong. The best part is that even if I fail I'd have had a hell of a lot of fun trying.

    The Money Situation

That same $45, about 11% of your current $400 stake, could buy you a damned good snow shovel. Buy one and make some risk & tax free money this winter. If you're as fit as my 17 year old son you can pull in $300+ in one day. When Spring arrives buy a lawn mower, rake, shovel and a pitchfork...

    deflation about to hit

If that were true the drillers would have never left the Texas oil fields for the shallow water fields then on to where they are now -- the deep water fields in the Gulf of Mexico. Then there's the oil sands of Canada...

Once you graduate from only paper trading you'll learn about something called a 1099 and who, besides you, receives a copy of it.

Whats the best instrument to trade swing / over night ?

What makes you think you can swing trade? Most of the big banks have pretty restrictive policies on short-term trading and will probably make you close all your outside accounts if they have their own trading desk.

Think $41,000 Steep For A Chevy Volt? One Dealer Wants $20,000 Premium!

No hate here, Shelby ponies are some of my all-time favorites. The pending GT350 should be as much a jaw-dropper as the GT500KR is. Specific to the 2010 GT500 ragtop though, it's not the same platform as the coupe which was redesigned to improve the balky handling. In short, pony...

Yeah, it was a hell of car but, I think your friend's dad was pulling your leg. Click on performance modifications at the following link. http://www.gnxregistry.org/ Not sure why these folks are so obsessed though, after all, it was a product of the 80's. As good as the GNX was, the...

Think $41,000 Steep For A Chevy Volt? One Dealer Wants $20,000 Premium!

It's happened in the past. I remember the Miata getting a hefty premium during it's first production year. A lot of exotics, especially the limited runs, like the F-40, GT, etc. have insane markups on a regular basis. But, the only production GM car (that wasn't a Corvette) in recent memory...

History is laffing at the USA's stupidity :) :)

Only an idiot would make a statement like that, they're the only one who thinks they're smart enough to not be stupid. Someone who knows their shit as well as you deserves recognition of that knowledge. Pleased to meet you, shit-head...
