    Greg's Forex Journal

Today I spent almost the entire day studying the market. I was up just after 1 pm, and did not miss an on-the-hour analysis besides the 5:00 pm throughout the night until 5 am. I like this way of watching the markets very much, as not only does it help my thinking process but it also gives me...

    Greg's Forex Journal

Thank you for the kind words, yoohoo, and the help I've received/found from everyone here on ET really has been indispensable. I am very confident about my future now, but it is almost entirely due to the posts, PMs, and overall information I've gotten from this community; I may have given up...

    Greg's Forex Journal

Thank you for your support, yoohoo and Tom. I believe I will take your advice and hold off going live for a while. I do believe that every trader needs to get crushed mentally a few times to harden themselves and learn. You can do it in a market crash, by investing all your wealth in real...

    Greg's Forex Journal

Sure. Back in the middle of November I was trying to find a way to get a screensaver on my screen with a hot key, and saw that windows has a "Photos" slideshow that scrolls through saved images. Well, to me it was a market opportunity. I decided to put every market image I could in it of...

    Greg's Forex Journal

Ok, I really could tackle every one of these things in their own separate posts, but I would like to reflect quickly on all of them: Watching the markets: My strategy lately in watching the markets has been to try to look at my pairs (EUR/USD, EUR/JPY, USD/JPY, and USD/CHF) just after the...

    Ivan's Trade Thread, part II

http://www.rense.com/general37/petrol.htm I just picked that site out of google, but I just had resources geology and Canada is indeed second in oil reserves to Saudi Arabia. They have what is called oil sand or tar sand, which is a substance near the surface where most of the lighter oils...

    Greg's Forex Journal

Very honestly have no time for journal entry today, but decided I was going to try to post one of my screensaver images I'm using to try to learn each day so here's number one. Have PLENTY to write about, which I will get to tomorrow or Thursday

    EURUSD Daily Elliott Wave Updates

Thanks for the e-book! I have previously subscribed to and downloaded everything free from elliottwave.com, and also have Frost and Prechter waiting for me when finally I get home later this week. Are you affiliated with the site? Also, I know a little bit about incorporating patterns (like...

    Greg's Forex Journal

I have just been keeping up with the hourly and 15 min every few bars between exams and studying, and I will be up for a few more hours, but wanted to post my reflection quickly. Either Saturday or Sunday, I spent about two hours or so editing and deleting many more of the images in my...

    Greg's Forex Journal

which pair to follow for daytrading?

I have found the best combination of low spreads and movement to be the EUR/USD, EUR/JPY, USD/JPY, and USD/CHF for me. I can't reflect on some of the more impressive spreads like IB however (I used Oanda), where you would likely have a lot more options for your time frame (I am about the same).

    EUR/JPY Evening Trader

Today I went through the free resources on elliottwave.com (three short PDFs worth reading) and then went through theharmonictrader.com patterns again to put the images in my screensaver. I already had the patterns except the reciprocal ab=bc in my screensaver, but wanted better images of the...

    EUR/JPY Evening Trader

Just wanted to draw people's attention to the fact that The Harmonic Trader by Scott Carney is now free on his website. http://harmonictrader.com/harmonictraderpdf.htm Read the paragraph, too. This "classic" will be a "collector's item for all trading libraries." Just found that amusing...

    EUR/JPY Evening Trader

Although I was being a college student for most of the night, I did get a decent amount of stuff done. Unfortunately, most of that meant condensing 60 images of charts down into 15 for screensaver (I have learned a lot of paint skills lately). I have found several things from this. Firstly, I...

I would like to keep this kind of conversation out of the forum and out of this thread. If you have a problem with the thread, nobody is making you read. If you have a problem with me, send me a PM and I will be happy to address it appropriately. I appreciate the criticism, but there is...
