I don't understand how people can say the Open Book is worthless. Maybe it's not helpful for their style of trading, but every day I see fast moving stocks react to large orders showing up in the book.

An easy thing to do is set up a "keyword" in Firefox. I have mine set so "yf gm" pulls up the Yahoo Finance news for GM. Once you get used to using the keyboard, it's pretty fast to alt-tab to firefox, ctrl-L, keyword and bring up the news.

It does if it's accompanied by unusual volume in Maoxian's Dummy system. I agree it was a good trade, I'm just saying it's not a strict Dummy trade.

CD wouldn't be a Maoxian dummy. His method is to follow trends. That gap up would establish an uptrend so you'd be looking long. Good trade though. What made you decide to go short? Or were you just going to go with whatever direction it broke from that inside bar?
