Taking it as a cue to queue up to buy QQQ, although cute, is inexcusable, thank you.

Pussinboots may be a true trader, and he may be knowledgeable. But most of his posts seem to be more wise-ass than wise, and little sharing of that knowledge. Whereas other members who put up some detailed and informative messages don't have near the number of individual posts.

That actually sounds plausible. However, I suspect Paul Tudor Jones II was somehow behind the whole event.

Trading is Freaking Easy Easy Easy

Your level of enthusiasm seems to have increased dramatically today from saturday evening. Perhaps trading wasn't actually the source of your boredom when you started this thread. Seems like you get your adrenaline from trading, and that when you aren't trading is when you start to feel down.

Trading is Freaking Easy Easy Easy

Sure, do it. But I'm not paying to see it. Rather spend my dollar on a Richie Rich comic. At least Richie's boredom with money is based on his view of money as a means and not an end, and he always tries to use his gluttonous excess to help others.

Three possible outcomes: up, down, flat

The dice and cards would therefore be simpler to use random theory on successfully. Which may be much easier than trying to predict the effect on prices of people's reactions, which are less predictable because there are too many outside factors affecting them. __________________ The...

Anyone successfully daytrade futures @ work?

My guess is that anyone "successful" at trading futures at work, would have done as you planned and quit their job to focus on trading once their strategy became successful.. You want to trade the open, but this is precisely the time you cannot because it coincides with your time at work. If...

Have you heard of Didier Sornette?

He looks like a cross between Scott Bakula and Tom Selleck. His market theories may truly be a quantum leap. Perhaps he has come back to make right what once went wrong. If it can be done, now is definitely the point in time which it needs to be done.

    Poker and the Beginning Trader

I believe this was one of those ancient Chinese "zen" (actually Confucianist) quotes. I'm sure the Wall Street character said it, but was requoting an ancient maxim. Speaking of MXIM, got hit by INTC drop today.

How is Sabena gonna do in trading?

I love Sabena! Teenage witch or not, Melissa Joan Hart is one cutie per tutti. She was fabulous in Clarissa Explains It All too!
