How can you have a record number of shorts on a future? Wouldn't that also mean a record number of longs? Unless I guess they are excluding firms hedging and stuff of course then I guess that could make sense.

Yeah I think there is definitely some potential with it. It comes down to doing a lot of homework and figuring out whether or not they can survive without bankruptcy before the maturity date! :wtf:

Anybody messed with ES calls this afternoon? Went long the 1900 call for next week, ES went up about 10pts, the call went up like 1pt. Was expecting more out of it than that. I got out for a half point profit.

I dont really like buying near the top for the day, but I am looking at going long as well for a move back up to the 2000 area. Will probably wait for now and see if we get a pullback

I closed out my ES call for a loss. As soon as we sold off and started to turn negative I figured it wouldn't be good so I got out. Smart thing would have been to flip and go the other way

I'm long an ES call as of Friday and added an NQ call as well a little before the close. Now, hoping for 2,200 ES soon :D
