    Index futures timing

Thanks alot for posting these times, I like looking at them before the market opens and keeping them in mind. It was one of the reasons I kept patient until ES made new daily highs at around 12:40 before I took my short trade. I knew I wanted to short in that zone, but this just helped confirm...

When you trade 1 contract its kinda hard to scale in and out :p Disclaimer: I'm 20 years old and on summer break, I dont have a ton of money to be throwing around, but a good day of trading pays better than a crappy job.

I'm looking to get short around 1508 - 1509.50 on a reversal bar with stop 1 tic above high or at 1510.... one more push is all we need.

Smile :) That was a good trade haha... you missed the high by 2 points, big deal. What made you decide to exit now rather than hold to see if your target got hit though?

Yeah, I was also wondering the same thing. Over the past year or so, no matter what was said, it was a reason to rally. Now that one could say sentiment has turned bearish for the short term, will it be the opposite? I was hoping some more experienced traders could tell us how these types of...

Selling tails and Buying tails everywhere.... confusing... I've got some stuff to take care of so I'm done for the day.... Bias does look bearish though.

You might be right... i'll short on a break of 1510.25... these panic drops tend to work in 2 stages

You very well could be right. I just plan on doing one of the reversal bar entrys with a 1 tick stop (APEX style haha) in that area because of the good risk/reward. I'm not sure how the index will react to the underside of the MA, I dont have any experience with it, but I'm gonna give it a...

My charts are showing a major trendline AND the 50-day MA right at 1507 (on the CASH index)... looks like good short opportunity if the mornings highs are broken.

I'm watching the DOW 50-day SMA and EMA closely. 13336 and 13292 respectively. A break could trigger some hardcore selling across the indices.

    14 year old fund manager

From Amazons Website - "97 used & new available from $0.01" They're giving it away :p Anyways, props to the kid. It seems he's just role playing at this point if he's having 3-way calls in the morning and short-term trading off of fundamentals, but I'm sure he'll keep progressing.

Nice trade MBusch... Its taken alot of patience to not short this yet but I gotta stick to the plan! haha... If we start looking like we're topping at 1528 again though I'll just take the short there. I think I'll take the cue based off volume. There just wasn't enough volume at the first...

I'm looking for one more push in the ES so that I can short between 1528.50 and 1530 when I see a reversal bar. This is a relief rally that has no real catalysts and this resistance zone looks pretty good.

The current daily chart resembles March 14th pretty close IMO. You've got a little "correction" followed by a reactionary bounce back, only to be taken down by the bears one last time and strongly reversed intraday. This makes me think we'll digest the move with range trading over the next day...
