stopped at 28, re-entered short at 27 stop at 28.50... 5-wave wedge waterfall action may play out :edit: stopped at BE... lame... 2 trades in a row that go >5 points in my direction then turn around to stop me out. So much for the straight line action thats been so prevalent the recently.

I'm gonna take stab here... short NQ at 1726.75 with stop around 1728 at this point (was 1730 a few min ago). Looking for 1711 minimum but would like to hold to see if we can get a gap-fill in the overnight.

Sweet buy zone on ES at 1212-1218... a trade here with a few point stop could net you 75 points profit. A trip to this area for a gap-fill is probable IMO.

Wall Street Jobs Drying Up: American Era Ending

When you have a large chunk of the best and the brightest of our country shuffling paper around instead of creating value, theres a problem. Don't get me wrong, I love trading, but I realize there is next to no NET value creation in it. There will still be bankers, but not as many... this...

Covering 1739.75... probably a little premature but I'll take it and run. It'll actually probably spike down now that I've closed my position.

They just banned short selling in US

Maybe, maybe not, but that volume spike capitulation top was due to a previous pivot in ES getting blown through. quick and easy scalps... instead of posting a blotter I should be watching the market :p

They just banned short selling in US

Is THAT why futures made a quick stab at 7:37 and have been rallying? I can't find a headline anywhere. I was able to steal an NQ contract from a guy at 1721.50 milliseconds before it shot up when I saw ES breakout. Sold it at 1725 because I had no idea what was going on and thought it might...

Heres an SPX weekly chart. You can see we're trading at the bottom of a channel. Although its not on the chart, everyone is aware there is a some serious capitulation volume going on. Every time we have ~2X-2.5X the average volume on the index products (ETFs, futures, actual shares, whatever)...

    Nice R:R Trade - PPC

This trade is for anyone who likes trades with good risk:reward. Trades like this are my bread and butter. You only need to be right less than 20% of the time to make money... but these usually pan out more than that. I'm not going to into my screening criteria or too much of the...

I feel that this stop out was not triggered due to failed setup, but bad placement on my part when I moved my stop up last night. The low today is still in my support zone and the trade still valid. I'm long again on SSO from 51.27... same size, stop a few cents under the LOD at 49.95...

Stopped out of my SSO long (from 52.11) at 50.30. Scaled out 1/5 of it last night at 55.60, so just a small loss. I have no idea what this market is going to do now... I'll need to re-evaluate tonight.

SSO (ultra-long S&P) has traded over 17MM shares so far today and the average is 11MM. Take a look at the daily SSO chart over the past year with volume on it and tell me if you see anything interesting :)
