There's nothing inside about the deal anymore, it's pretty public. And this information wasn't tradable in any way!!!

Not if it's immaterial to their results. But they will most likely mention it in their quarterly report to the SEC. They may also have to file, I think it's an 8k.

% doesn't pay the bills. And in order to get the costs that low you would need a hell of alot of shares. And the more traders you get the higher your costs are for employees to maintain all those traders, to do record keeping, bandwidth, servers, computers, software, rent, and other things...

It's the way the business is, dirty. Make the main piece look cheap, and they will flock. Most people don't know what the true ECN costs are even though some of them can be looked up on the web. The one's that are harder to find, you'll find them quoted in a wide range. Island is .003 for...

I like the chops busted!!! You're right, in a retail shop where you put up your own money and get 2 to 1 leverage, there is no need to show p&l. But in a prop shop, where they are going to give you 10 to 1 leverage, you have to show your p&l so they can see the risk they're taking with...

You're basically asking for 1/10th of a penny commissions. The most effcient firm, has costs that run at or just higher then 1/10th. And by firm I mean, self clearing broker dealer. It's not going to happen. Even E-Trade, at $9 a trade will cost you over $60 for a 10K trade, which works out...

The question is, can we all get it, if we're doing 10K a day average? At this point, this group has been hyped up so much, they better give it to someone or Ticker will lose his credibility (no offense Ticker, just busting your chops). Keeps us posted though trader963.

Not happening. If you're seriously going to be trading in 10,000 share blocks, or scaling in and out of 10,000 share positions, you can definately get under $5/1000 (.005) if your volume approaches over 150K a day. But then you still have to include ECN & SEC fee's.

With steady volume for that long, every rate cut for you will make the difference, especially on 50K a day. We do lower the rates on our traders within the first month, and as they increase volume from then on. We definately understand the concept of lower rates, higher volume. I think we're...
