I use Amibroker with AFL/javascript and perl script. All my trades are done manually. The stock market is hard beast to tame even with IT wizardry. Not sure how true is this story.

If using TA, then other news are just the backup of the price actions in the stock charts. This should help prioritize which news is more effective.

I trade mainly US stocks. The property market is still booming. Not sure how long it will last. The market here is small. A small drop will not just send ripples but waves. AS the trade war prolongs, it will definitely affect here.
